What mobile information does Valley Spring Recovery Center collect?

Valley Spring Recovery Center collects the mobile phone number you type into the chat widget, the consent you give when you send that message, the date and time of that consent, and the content of the messages you exchange with the admissions team.

Nothing else about your device is collected through the messaging program. Numbers are never purchased, rented, appended, or imported from a third-party list.

How is your mobile number used?

If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive SMS text messages from Valley Spring Recovery Center, we use that number only to send the messages you consented to, such as appointment reminders, intake and admissions follow-ups, insurance verification updates, care coordination, and general support related to your inquiry.

The program also sends promotional messages about Valley Spring Recovery Center programs, services, events, and openings to the numbers that opted in. Every message comes from Valley Spring Recovery Center and never from another business.

Is your mobile number shared with third parties?

We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS opt-in consent, mobile phone number, or any mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may only be shared with service providers that help us operate our messaging program, and only to the extent needed to deliver these messages on our behalf.

Those service providers are the messaging platform and telecommunications carriers that transmit the messages. They are contractually barred from using your mobile information for any other purpose.

How do you withdraw consent?

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving treatment or any service.

You may also withdraw consent by calling (201) 781-8812 or emailing referrals@valleyspringrc.com. Withdrawal stops the messages and does not affect your care.

How long is your mobile information kept?

Opt-in and opt-out records are retained for as long as the messaging program operates, because carriers require proof of consent and proof that opt-outs were honored. Message content tied to a request for treatment is retained under the same policy that governs other admissions records.
